We are happy to announce a field trip to tour the historic Moland House in Warwick, PA. This trip will support the Revolutionary War unit of our Social Studies curriculum. More information about the Moland House can be found here: http://moland.org/ .
The trip will take place on Friday, May 5th. We will travel by school bus. We will depart Doyle at 8:50 and return by 12:40 in time for lunch.
This trip, including admission and transportation, has already been paid for as part of your Activity Fee that you submitted in September. Please print, complete, and send in the permission slip.
Each of the four homerooms will be able to take two parent chaperones. If you have completed your volunteer clearances and are an approved volunteer, and you are interested in serving as a chaperone and being responsible for a group of students, please send your child’s teacher an email before March 31st stating “I am interested in serving as a chaperone on the field trip to Moland House on May 5. Please add my name to the hat.” Two chaperones per class will be randomly selected. All people who volunteered will be notified by their child’s teacher.
We are looking forward to this educational experience. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
