The Department of Technology and Innovation supports a wide array of technologies across 23 school buildings and an additional four administrative buildings. Some of the technologies available throughout the district include:
    • over 11,000 Desktop and Laptop computers
    • over 160 Servers (of which about half are virtualized)
    • 2 GB Internet connection
    • more than 1,000 tablet devices
    • a variety of on-premise and cloud-based technologies
    • BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) access
    • online virtual classroom tools
    • over 1,100 wireless access points
    • over 700 network switches
    • over 300 terabytes of storage
    • over 22,500 Active Directory network user accounts
    • nearly 3,400 email accounts
    • approximately 550 printers and copiers
    • video conferencing equipment in every building
    • the majority of instructional spaces are equipped with projectors and interactive technology
    • over 450 different desktop software titles
    • students in grades 5-12 have access to the online services of Microsoft Office 365
    • staff members may access Remote Virtual Desktops in order to work from locations outside the district
